We are pleased to announce that Shawflex has been accepted as a Partner of Copper Mark, which is the world’s first and only social and environmental assurance framework for copper production. Since 2019, the Copper Mark organization has worked to promote responsible copper production practices.

Shawflex is one of only a handful of wire and cable manufacturers to be accepted as a Copper Mark Partner, and joins international companies such as Amazon, Google, Siemens Energy, Ford and Intel. This new alliance signals to customers that Shawflex is committed to partnering with copper producers and providers who meet Copper Mark’s stringent environmental and social production practices.

As quoted by our Vice President, Aaron Klejman – “The Copper Mark’s commitment to advance responsible copper production practices resonates with Shawflex’s drive to create a healthier, safer, and more equitable world for our employees, their families, our communities, and all our stakeholders.”

By being a Copper Mark Partner and participating in their working groups, the Shawflex team has the opportunity to both learn from and contribute to Copper Mark’s initiatives.
